3.  GOD USES PROBLEMS TO CORRECT ME

God never punish his children.

God correct his children as he love them.

"God corrects all of His children, and if He doesn't correct you, then you don't really belong to Him…  God corrects us for our own good, because He wants us to be holy, as He is."Heb. 12:8-10 (CEV)

Life is a school, problem is the corriculum.

God wanna teach me something.

How's problem protecting me?

5.  GOD USES PROBLEMS TO PERFECT ME

Pain is th high cost of growth.

"After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who calls you to share His eternal glory in union with Christ, will Himself perfect you and give you firmness, strength, and a sure foundation."1 Peter 5:10 (TEV)

"These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us."2 Cor. 4:17 (Msg)

"We can rejoice when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us – they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it...                                                                              Rom. 5:3-4(LB)

Working holiday Day 6 (02102015)

Today is sunny day. I'm going for a jog in the morning. I'm praying, worshipping and jogging at th same time. I'm praying to God which I wish I can attend a church here which really for me and is near! Right after I done this prayer while jogging, I saw a signboard. That's cool, is written "life church" with its phone number. Praise Lord. I really think that it is amazing!!!

Later on I'm not going out as later on my cousin might bring me to visit grandma and dinner.

My friend was going out with her buddisht friend. I take this opportunity to pray and soaking in his presence. As my friend asking me to plan for myself as she has decide to leave here and to moureka stay and look for job. She might leave me here. Gosh.... I gonna stuck and I start to worry about. Where I'm gonna stay? Where I should go? I'm stuck!!! I start panic after my friend start to prompt me to plan it on my own! But the inner voice telling me I should stay and go the church! I might love this church! 

Around 5pm my cousin bring me to buy the flower before I visit my grandma! There so sweet of my grandma keep kissing me when I'm holding her hand!

Love that so much! Miss the time with her. I have been long time never met her. 

Lisa's family buy me a dinner at a Chinese Restaurant. The food was delicious. That's the first time I got a good food in New Zealand. So bless!!!

At night I decided not to follow my friend to Motueka. I might stay here for another 6days with another girl who just touch down from Msia. I still insist to visit that church.

Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 

马可福音 16:20 门徒出去，到处宣传福音。主和他们同工，用神迹随着，证实所传的道。阿们！

Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it. 

Working Holiday Day 5 (01102015)

Today I suppose to be awake damn early as I'm telling myself I wish to be go for jogging.... By the way... I just awake at 12pm as usual, I still jet lag. Lolz...

 Today we take bus to the city. We go visit the Canterbury Museum. It have few levels which I love the mirror so much. Enjoy the kids were playing around... That's so much fun. 

We also pay a visit to the Re-START mall somewhere the area. I brought a termo bottle from Kathmandu. It was having sales. 50% off. Thank God! 

We also going to visit the church which collapse during th earthquakes. 

Last station, we lying down on the field at the botanical garden. I'm praying and resting there. Suddenly a man come to me and introduce himself to me. After w short talk, he ask to exchange phone number, I feel weird, but I know father you are with me, if that's not their person you want me to know, please remove it away from me. I know you will protect me at all times. I trust in you my Lord, please let me to know you more and more from day by day. I also wish I could share the love of you to my friend, Theresa. I know you love her as well. 

When we going to take the bus again, as we know we should pay another time, but I have take the ticket out again, the kind bus driver thought I don't know the rules and give me a grace to take this ride as free. Wow.... Thanks God once again! 

Such a great time I can experience more of you. 😁

Working Holiday Day 4 (30092015)

Today is the second day I'm in Christchurch New Zealand. We have a riding tour to the garden. Our plan is to the botanical garden, but ended up we going to the Hagley Park which near to the botanical garden as well. Funny thing was, I not realize that's not the botanical garden, until the next day I get to the actual botanical garden! Haha... Funny right?

Thank God, is more sunny day. Is warm enough for me!

Bad thing is.... I ride the bicycle until I feel the pain of my butt. We ride about 30 mins one way to the destination. Can imagine two way is about 1 hour, but the way back is closer... Praise Lord.

We thought we unable to take the ride to the city as left a bike with us in the home stay. They boy, Jeff was back from school on time. Thank God. I'm having a ride in the town. That's good experience. Have many times I nearly felt, but thank you Lord, I'm safe! 

Working Holiday Day 3 (29092015)

The first day we touch down New Zealand. 

Thank God for a nice home stay which mostly is Malaysian. 

The owner is nice and given me a treat of tom yam Maggie me for my breakfast!

I thought I might miss tom yam, you know what's ?

My traveling partner, Theresa she brought tom yam paste and bak kut teh ingredient. That's so much blessing! Wow.... 

When I know it in airport, I non stop laughing... As I know that's because of you, Father. You make it happened just for me! Hahaha

Is cold the weather... The banking thing was done! First time I need to cook myself for dinner! Wow.... 

I'm learning Lord!

Working Holiday Day 2 (28092015)

Praise Lord I have a blessed day spend in Melbourne, Australia. I just have golden 24hours, but I really appreciate what God has blessed me. 

I got a nice family in Melbourne. That's make me feel warm. I love it!!!

They bring me one day tour at the city. Luna park, the beach... Wow...

Impressed me is .... I saw sunset!!! Thank god!!! 

I'm too bless. Keep having good food in Melbourne. That's so bless. 

I thought to have Italian food, like spaghetti, but my uncle wish that I should be having something like steak as there most famous is steak. By the way due to traffic problem, we ended up having a Italian food. I enjoy it so much!!!

I like the tiramisu so much! So delicious!

2.   Eradicates my guilt

3.   Activate my faith

HOW DO I GAIN THESE BENEFITS?

 

      1.      I got to know

      “When you received the Word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the Word of God, which is at work in you who believe.”

      “Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you DO them.”    John 13:17 (NIV)

Working Holiday Day 1 (27092015)

Early morning,I waked up by mom and dad as my flight is around 0650hrs. I really wish to rest more but I know I'm going to be late if I do so. After done all last checking and packing, we heading to airport. My cousin was waiting at the airport. So touching when I saw my family, my brother and sister, my best friend were there sending me. My BFF Wendy brought me a nice stylist red cap and she request me to send her a photo per day and write a word on what's my feeling. Another one is my beloved Pastor Chin Ming, he give me a book as a gift and wrap it nicely with those picture that I write in his phone. 

Touching and warm were many of them sacrifice their sleeping time to send me!!! 

Jia wei, Ping Ping, Irene, Chia Chia, Wei Ee, Ezra and Ps. Chin Ming. I really love them all!!!

Thank God for giving me a good seat which I able to.... See the sun rise! That's awesome! 

When I'm hanging around in airport, thank God I have a great time with God by listening to the sermon. So fast, the time past!!! I really filled with his spirit!

The fullness... Unbelievable 

Another time, God bless me with a good seat! Praise Lord! I can get in and out unrestricted. 

When touch down, praise Lord!!! I get to meet uncle and Aunty! Thank God for good food when I get to meet them! 

Besides, have a good rest in their house. I rest in Charisa's room! 😊

WE ARE DISCIPLES

What it Means to Follow Jesus

TO BE A DISCIPLE…

1.      I MUST SPEND TIME WITH JESUS.

“IF YOU WANT to be my disciple you must come and follow me, because my servants MUST BE WHERE I AM. And if they follow me, the Father will honor them.” John 12:26 (NLT)

 

3 FACTS ABOUT SPIRITUAL GROWTH

 

1) Spiritual Growth is a Choice

 

     2) Spiritual Growth is a Commitment  

 

     3) Spiritual Growth is a Relationship

 

 “The plan was that they would BE WITH HIM and then he would send them out to proclaim the Word.”  Mark 3:14b (MSG)

 

2.      I MUST LOVE GOD SUPREMELY. 

"IF you want to be my follower you must love me more than your own father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, more than your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple.”  Luke 14:26 (LB)

Worship is the way...

     

SPIRITUAL GROWTH IS MEASURED BY HOW MUCH YOU LOVE!

                      

"The most important commandment is this… You must love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, ALL your soul, ALL your mind, and ALL your strength.” Mark 12:29-30 (NLT)

 

 

3.      I MUST LOVE ANY OTHER DISCIPLES.

 “IF you have love for one another, then everyone will know that you are my disciples."      

John 13:35 (TEV)

 

SPIRITUAL GROWTH HAPPENS IN COMMUNITY.                                                                  

           

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.” 1 John 3:16 (NIV)

 

 

4.      I MUST ALWAYS DO WHAT'S JESUS TELL ME

“IF you continue to obey my teaching, you are truly my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:31-32 (NCV)

                                                   

4 FACTS ABOUT SPIRITUAL GROWTH

 

      It is an Ongoing Process 

 

      It is Measured by Obedience, Not Knowledge

 

      It Is Based On God’s Word

 

      It Sets Me Free 

      Set free from expectation, guilt, bad habit, shame... 

I believe that the thing that I actually do or practice.  

“IF you CONTINUE to live in me and what I say lives in you, then ask for anything you want, and it will be yours. You give glory to my Father when you PRODUCE A LOT OF FRUIT and therefore show that you are my disciples.”   John 15:7-8 (GW)

A plan, guideline, a process... I need. Jesus have it for you!

God love you in every season of you maturity. 

Every stages.... 

1) Know Christ and loving Christ 

2) Love his family

3) Growing 

4) Serving him

5) Sharing the good news

Spiritual growth you must have a good habit.

Partial faithfulness is not faithful. 

5.       I MUST SERVE OTHERS UNSELFISHLY.

“IF you want to be the most important person you must take the last place and be a servant to everyone else." Mark 9:35 (GW)

BEST LEADER is serving others not let the people serving you. 

Happy person, is giving away themselves. 

 

 “For even I, the Son of Man, came here not to be served but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many."   Matthew 20:28 (NLT)       

       

Spiritual exercise when you practice it by giving it out.

Spiritual growth require sacrifice.

“IF anyone wants to be my disciple, he must deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.” Matthew 16:24 (LB)

 

6.      I MUST PASS ON THE GOOD NEWS.

“Jesus called out to them, ‘Come, be my disciples, and I will show you how to fish for people!’  And they left their nets at once and went with him.”  Matthew 4:20 (LB)    

 

“Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. And teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you; and be sure of this -– I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

 “IF you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But IF you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will find true life.” Mark 8:35-36 (NLT, NCV)

It is never too late to start growing.

Day 22 29/9/2015: What's on earth am I here for?

CREATED TO BECOME LIKE CHRIST

 God want us to grow spiritually. The model for us will be Jesus.

      “From the very beginning God decided that those who came to   Him – and He knew who would – should become like His Son...”  Rom. 8:29 (LB)

 

      “God wants us to grow up ...  like Christ in everything.”  Eph. 4:15 (Mes)

 

      MY 3^rd PURPOSE IN LIFE IS TO BECOME LIKE CHRIST.

      Learning to think, act, speak, love, and serve the way Jesus did.

This is process. That's call discipleship. 

 

 

HOW DO I GROW SPIRITUALLY?

The process of Discipleship includes

 

·         Worship “As the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we becomemore and more like Him and reflect His glory even more.”  2 Cor. 3:18 (NLT)

 

·         Fellowship  ”We are joined together in Christ’s Body and we grow as we get our nourishment and strength from God.”  Col. 2:19 NLT

 

·         Growing (God has gifted teachers) “...so that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ.”        Eph. 4:13 (NLT)

 

·         Serving ”Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus, who, though He was God...  made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant...”   Phil. 2:5-7 (NIV)

 

·         Sharing Jesus: “I have come to seek and save those who are lost.” Luke 19:10 (NLT)

 

THREE UNEXPECTED TOOLS

      “In all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”  Rom. 8:28 (NIV)

This is for those who's love him.

Even that's my stupid mistake or decision. 

This is why we never give up, 

Body is older, but Spirit is getting stronger. 

 

1.  GOD USES TROUBLE TO TEACH US TO TRUST HIM. -TRAILS.

      “...troubles produce patience.  And patience produces character, and character produces hope.”  Rom. 5:3-4 (NCV)

 

      “They came to a garden called Gethsemane and Jesus said to His disciples, ‘Sit here while I pray.’ ...  Distress and anguish came over Him, and He said, ‘The sorrow in My heart is so great that it almost crushes Me.’  Mark 14:32-34 (TEV)

 

      “Father, everything is possible for You.  Please take this cup of suffering away from Me.  Yet I want Your will, not Mine!”  Mark 14:36 (NLT)

See what's you good at and what's your passion- that's God want you to do.

You not gonna take your career to heaven. God is want you to growing up. 

Every problem have a purpose in your life.

All to help you grow up, look like Jesus, think like Jesus. 

TRUST,is the key... 

Pray this three thing when you have problem.

1. God I know u can take away problems.

2. God I want you take a way this problems.

3. But yet if this is what you want me to learn, I know you will get me through it, let your will to be done. 

This three prayer is call, TRUST.

Trust God completely. 

 Practically you need to :

·         Keep a spiritual journal.

Journal is writing down lesson that you learn. 

      “At the Lord’s direction, Moses kept a written record of their progress.”  Num. 33:2 (NLT)

1. So the lesson you had learn you no need to be learn again.

2. Pass down to your grandchildren. Wise to learn from expericence and wiser to learn from experience from others. 

 

·         Remember the reward.

      “Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”  2 Cor. 4:17 (NIV)

Reward is developing character. Reward in heaven. Trust with patience and love. 

 

 

2.   GOD USES TEMPTATION TO TEACH US TO OBEY HIM.

Temptation is a choice.

      “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.” 

       Matt. 4:1 (NIV)

 Temptation is not a sin. Jesus also get temptation.

      “‘Get out of here, Satan’ Jesus told him ‘The Scriptures say, Worship only the Lord God.  Obey only Him.’”  Matt. 4:10 (LB)

God is faithful and give u strength to get through. 

Every temptation is a opportunity to of the right thing.

 

·         Keep focused on good thought.

Refocus... Not to focus on temptation, but is focus on the opportunity to do right. Focus to your passion,feeding your passion.

      “Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right.”  Phil. 4:8a (LB)

Following the spirit, and you will not following the flesh!

 

·         Get a spiritual partner.

      “You’re better off to have a friend than to be all alone...  If you fall, your friend can help you up.”  Eccl. 4:9-10 (CEV)

 

 

3.  GOD USES TRESPASSES TO TEACH US TO FORGIVE

      “People passing by shook their heads and hurled insults at Jesus ...  and the elders made fun of Him...  Even the bandits who had been crucified with Him insulted him in the same way.”  Matt. 27:39-44 (TEV)

 

      “Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive these people, because they don’t know what they are doing.’”          Luke 23:34 (NLT)

 

·         Remember God has forgiven me

      “Forgive others, just as God forgave you because of Christ.”  Eph. 4:32 (CEV)

 

·         Remember God is in control.

      “You meant to hurt me, but God turned your evil into good to save the lives of many people, which is being done.”     Gen. 50:20 (NCV)

 

      “We go through exactly what Christ goes through.  If we go through the hard times with Him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with Him.”  Rom. 8:17 (Mes)
