5 QUESTIONS FOR A LIFE OF PURPOSE
1. WORSHIP: WHAT WILL BE THE CENTER OF MY LIFE?
Who and what I'm live for?
Whatever you center your life on is what you worship.
Whatever you think about most.
Husband, wife, kids... Career... Hobbies... Traveling...
But they don't belong of your center of your life.
Whatever your center of your life, which you can't lose.
If you don't have a solid thing as your center of your life, you gonna fall apart.
You must have a core in your life that does not change.
If you put a man made thing as a center of your life, you don't have a center to hold you when you stress out.
Only thing in life that doesn't change is the relationship with Christ.
“If your wealth increases, don’t make it the center of your life.” Ps. 62:10 (NLT)
Jesus is the filling of the pie, not just the piece of the pie.
Everything you let Jesus to fill, he will bless.
When You worry... Is the warning light which you replace it as the center of your life.
“Christ’s love has the first and last word in everything we do. Our firm decision is to work from this focusedcenter…” 2 Cor. 5:14 (Mes)
“Instead of worrying, pray… It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.” Phil. 4:6-7 (Mes)
Pray or panic? Worry or worship?
Don't worry, PRAY.
Worry is doing something you can't control.
Anger should be motivated by love not hate.
Jesus also will get angry, but is out of love, not hate.
SELF-CENTERED or GOD-CENTERED?
2. FELLOWSHIP: WHAT WILL BE MY COMMUNITY OF LIFE?
“Every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.” Gal. 6:10 (Mes)
“Since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others.” Rom. 12:5 (NLT)
We not believer, we also belonger
1. We belong to each other.
2. We need each other.
Start with a small group.
“You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy it if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor.” James 3:18 (Mes)
SPECTATOR or PARTICIPATOR?
3. GROWTH: WHAT WILL BE THE CHARACTER OF MY LIFE?
God is concern about our character.
“For from the very beginning God decided that those who came to Him... should become like His Son.” Rom. 8:29 (LB)
God decided we like Christ.
“In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus.” Phil. 2:5 (NCV)
If you want look like Christ you need to know how Christ act and think.
Then you need to know the words of God.
Reading the bible is reading God's mind.
Growing spiritually take times...
Fruits depend on the tree.
Love joy peace kind sell control.... Fruits of spirit.
Grow of the tree, need food and drinks...
Word of God is the food.
Fertilizing by unloving people, trials, problems....
Start with choice...
Choose to do th right thing or wrong thing.
“Don’t lose a minute in building on what you’ve been given. Complement your basic faith with good character, spiritual understanding, alert discipline, passionate patience, reverent wonder, warm friendliness, and generous love.” 2 Peter 1:5-7 (Mes)

“It is God Himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ago He planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.” Eph. 2:10 (LB)
GETTING or GIVING?
Giver or a taker?

What do you do with the gift that I give you?
5. MISSION: WHAT WILL BE THE COMMINICATION OF YOUR LIFE ?
Bringing, Going, & Sharing my Life Message

“Live in such a way that you are a credit to the message of Christ...” Phil. 1:27 (Mes)

A CHECKLIST OF PASSION-KILLERS
1. AN UNBALANCED SCHEDULE.
Too much work will lose you passion.
“It is senseless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, fearing you will starve to death; for God wants His loved ones to get their proper rest.” Ps. 127:2 (LB)
Need take time to rest.
Always taking or input, also will lose your passion.
No mission, not serving...
Either too much input but no output, or too much output no input. It is not healthy.
“Take the time and the trouble to keep yourself spiritually fit.” 1 Tim. 4:7b (Ph)
BALANCE UP.
2. AN UNUSED TALENT.
Use what God's give you.
Use your talent in a ministry because there are no job can used all your talent.
If your job kill your passion, get out of it.
“Each of you has been blessed with one of God’s many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gift well.” 1 Peter 4:10 (CEV)
“Each one should live his life with the gifts that the Lord has given him...”
1 Cor. 7:17 (Ph)
3. AN UNCONFESSED SIN.
“My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear... I am bowed down and brought low.” Ps. 38:4+6 (NIV)
4. AN UNRESOLVED CONFLICT.
“Resentment destroys the fool, and jealousy kills the simple.” Job 5:2 (NLT)
“You are only hurting yourself with your anger.” Job 18:4 (GN)
5. AN UNSUPPORTED LIFESTYLES.
=No fellowship
We need each other.
We need a small group.
“Two are better than one, because… if one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!” Eccl. 4:9-10 (NIV)
We need relationship to grow.
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together… but let us encourage one another.” Heb. 10:24-25 (NIV)
6. AN UNCLEAR PURPOSE.
“I have labored to no purpose; I have spent my strength in vain and for nothing.”
Isa. 49:4 (NIV)
7. AN UNDERNOURISHED SPIRIT.
“Just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust Him, too, for each day’s problems; live in vital union with Him. Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him. See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous…”
Col. 2:6-7 (LB)
“You must worship only the Lord, for He is a God who is passionate about His relationship with you.” Ex. 34:14 (NLT)
THE PASSION OF JESUS
“Jesus showed Himself alive to them after His Passion by many demonstrations: for forty days He had continued to appear to them and tell them about the kingdom of God.”
Acts 1:3 (NJB)
“Whoever is wise will remember these things and will think about the deep love of the Lord.” Ps. 107:43 (NCV)
“God showed how much He loved us by sending His only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him. This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John 4:9-10 (NLT)
