I read and listen to a devotion plan by Rick Warren - Part 5 Better together.
In the sermon, it taught me how to serve together. That's I really need to learn as our youth camp is near the corner. We should spend more time in serving together.
“… agree with each other, loving one another, and working together
with one heart and purpose.”
Phil. 2:2 (NLT)
1. Because we’re family.
“We work together as partners who belong to God.”
1 Cor. 3:9 (NLT)
If you’re in God’s family, God wants you to get along with the other
family members. In fact, God is more interested in the relationships you build
during service together than he is in the service that you do. He wants you to
learn to get along with the family of God.
2. Because we need each
other
We need each other to serve. Nobody has all the talents. Nobody has all
the gifts. God did it that way intentionally so that you would need me and I
would need you and we would need each other.
“… Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of Christ’s Body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we?”
Rom. 12:5 (Mes)
3.Because we get more done
“Two are better off than one, because together they can work more
effectively.”
Eccl. 4:9 (GN)
“The one who plants and the one who waters work as a team with the
same purpose.”
1 Cor. 3:8 (NLT)
Teamwork multiplies effectiveness.
There are more thing to learn about, but I know the Holy Spirit will guide me.
When I pray, it guides me through as well. Praise Lord!!!
