Post Sibu Trip 2025

 Good days flies... 
Is time to back to West Malaysia

I booked the bus ticket before I am on board from East Malaysia

The flight has delay for 30 mins.

My bus was 4.40pm

Although the flight touch down before 4pm, but I still rushing to the bus station at KLIA2

Thank God the good friend who reminds me to go there early. 

I did not know that the bus ticket need to print out in the counter too. That's make me more nervous when I am heading there. I thought I shall have more than enough time to be on the bus. 

The bus arrived at times and depart from KLIA 2 to KL sentral quite fast. 

I thought I brought the ticket with seat, but when get up the bus, there is free seating. Good that I no need to share any seat with anyone. I enjoy my quality "alone" time with JP sermons.

My sis told me to meet them in Mid Valley, so I need to travel from KL Sentral to Mid valley by my own through KTM also. 

Initially I thought I need to go by Rapid KL as my sis shared me the link and pic showing that. But when get in the rapid KL station, I found there is no LRT to midvalley. I quickly get out from the station and went opposite the KTM station. I found this signboard who lead me to the right station. 

Thank God for the leading. I reach Mid Valley safely.

During the long travel, I was hungry. I ate up two "kong pia" in the bus and when meeting up my family. I bring them to get have dinner. 

I told my sis to choose places which I cannot find in Pg

Not a long queue, so we quickly pick our seat and order the food

Overall the food is nice. I prefer the duck, but my family like their shao rou more.

Next day early morning, is time to drive back from KL

We depart at 5am and reach Ipoh for dim sum around 7.30am

I enjoy the dim sum so well as the service from foh san still good. 

Although seems pricy slightly, but I prefer this place as there is a good OKU friendly toilet convenient for my dad to use. 

Thank God that we safely reach home. I did stop at the R&R station near Bukit Merah about 10mins to rest my eyes. That's the first time I feel too sleepy and hardly open my eyes to drive in this hour. My mom knew it also not dare to sleep through when I am driving. 

After a good nap, I cook this dumpling for my family as lunch and my mom cooked Maggie mee for us. After a good nap, finally I can help my mom for the dinner after so many years I never helped up in the kitchen. 

Can't believe, I actually help to cut and cook the sweet and sour chicken and vegetables under guidance of my "sifu" in the house. 

Good day for all after a long holiday.

 Blessed Year 2025

Thank God for another fruitful year of the Third Day and the year of Shekinah Glory

This year CNY eve dinner just have 6 of us. Cousin Jwei back to cruise, cousin JJ and my sis with family cannot be back. 

Thank God that we still manage to have a small but lovely fellowship reunion dinner in my house. 

This year main chef is my mom. Credit to her hard work and also my aunty brought a nice "shao rou" for us to enjoy from .

Today is first CNY 2025, as usual I will fetch my parent to visit my eldest Uncle and his family. This year we went a bit late as usual as my Uncle's family went to church early morning. Good to know that my uncle's family has accepted Christ and even my Uncle did not openly confess that Jesus is his savior, yet he keep tell us that thank God for everything in his life. That's a good chance and start in his life.

The next day early morning around 5am, I drive my parent to KL to visit my sis and family. My parent will stay there for 5 days while waiting me back from Sibu to get them back to Penang. 

The first stop we stop by at "ba fen ban" dim sum restaurant to have our breakfast and straight away we heading to KL. 

I stopped at R&R to get my daily dose coffee as I am quite sleepy honestly to drive them along. 

We get to KL quite early in the morning, so my sis suggested us to go to Sunway Pyramid to have a walk and straight away for lunch before heading back to her house. 

As usual, my sis and her family favorite restaurant "Kim Gary" always is their first choice. 

My dad order the croissant, and I ordered the spicy noodles. 

While waiting for the time for my parent and family to take the bath, my sis bring her youngest daughter Audrey with me to play at the playroom at the condo. 

She was so adorable. She cooked for me and ask me to be her customer she can served with.

After sometimes, is due time for me to travel back via bus. 

I took Aeroline bus from KL Sunway to PG Queensbay.

There is a lounge for the passenger to wait and have coffee before the bus departure. I am waiting here alone. The lounge is nice and clean. I love it. 

This it the seat from the bus. I choose the left single seat. Quite comfortable. There is movie, headphone and blanket provided. The service was like Mas Airline. There is announcement like what we use to listen on board. Really a good experience for me.

Food and coffee provided as well throughout the journey. 

The bus will stop by Simpang Pulai rest station for 15 mins as a toilet break and straight away they travel back to QB Penang around 10.05pm. I grab two pack of snacks during the break. I enjoy the snacks with the movie provided in the bus. 

Thanks for the wonderful experience throughout the packed journey of the day. 

My bro Desmond pick me up from QB and go for a late supper. Thank God for him in my life. He bless me with a cup of starbuck hot chocolate and the supper as well with his friend. They waited me there for sometimes too. So bless to know them.

Long time I was not traveling with MAS airline
Quite a good experience for me and my friend, except the "landing part"
Early morning me and my friend waiting at the boarding area for sometimes... Sleepy ++ 

Wake quite early in the morning 4.30am. Just ignore my black circles. 

Mas Airline provided mineral water + peanut during the journey from Pg-Kl

Too bad I am on my aligner still... cannot grab it along the journey.

I like the croissant so much. Crispy and nice!!! That cost me RM21 for the breakfast. 

Due our long transit, about 6 hours stuck in the airport, we went for a coffee. 

 

First trying costa coffee in the café. 

I ordered flat white RM15.7, the taste was good for me. I like it. 
There I shared my lately "dating" experience with my friend until the lunch hour.

Next, before we on board again, we went for a lunch. 

I choose to eat Din Tai Fung, since all the meals price in KLIA quite high, no hard let my friend try some good one.

This whole lunch cost us RM 72.25.
Abit pricy yet, there is no special cheap food can find in KLIA1.

I didn't know our flight will have provided us dinner also. After the flight take off sometime, the food was served.

I choose beef and my friend choose salted egg chicken. Her meal seems nicer. 

After the meal, they will provide us a drink as well. I grab "sugar free" orange juice. 

Thank God, safe landing and we have our friend's bro to pick us up in airport with another Korean couple also same like us attending our friend's wedding.
So bless that we no need to call for grab. I just realize there is quite hard to call for a grab there. My sg friend volunteer to rent us the car in airport the next day when I tell them there is quite hard for them to call for a grab there.

My bff brought her family along and travel all the way from Penang to Sibu. Their flight delay, yet her 4 months old baby was fresh and happy when reach the homestay. I am so happy to meet her in person again.

Today is my friend wedding day!

Meet my long lost friend all the way from Melbourne. I miss her alottttt!!!!

After the wedding, we back to our homestay for a second round gathering with our bride and groom.

 Get to have a small talk with my senior Chia Ling. Good to meet er again. 

2 Feb 25
When most of my "roommates" sleeping. I wake up d as my biological clock is still activated.

I grab some snacks left on the tables when everyone is still on the bed. 

While waiting for my "roommates" to prepare themselves, I grab this time to have some selfies with this cuties.

OMG.... Sibu still raining and the flood is quite serious though.

I found a special "long" traffic light here. I can't see it in Penang >> 

<< The café we planned to try before heading to lunch was not opened. End up we went to try this new café.

Right after a shared portion breakie, we go for our lunch pre-booked by our beloved friend from Sibu~ Ah Paw. She is my best first night shift partner. 

Thank God for her, so that we can tried the local dishes well.

Another Sibu friend also trying hard to come to meet us there. She overcome the flood area from Sibu and be here for us. So good to meet her

Both of us, Wei Ee, her family and I went to visit another Sibu friend. Finally we get to meet Agnes and her beloved first born daughter. 

Her daughter was so adorable. 

Another group of friend did not follow us to their house, they went to hunt for "kong pia" in the Sibu market. 

 I think we have visited this sibu market before.

They even ordered for us and all the way bring the "kong pia" for us to try. 

I was so touch by the kind act of them. I am bless to have group of loving and kind friends in my life. 

Next, we went to Ah Paw's house. She host us well by filling our tummy with all kinds of "kuih lapis" 

Our favorite flavor of kuih lapis still is "chempedak" one. 

She also bless us with two small box of it to bring home. Thank God for her. She also bless each of us a pack of laksa paste to bring home. 

She also introduce us to eat this big "tong" of fish biscuit with Acar
The combination really is good and yummy. 

Before the dinner, we went to Sibu Farley market to get some local goods to bring home. 
I get some Sarawak pepper and my friend would like to have some local Kampua mee home. 

We asked our friend's daughter Elyse to help us promote to her "good friend" 

The process of packing was fun and my clumsiness make them a good laugh. 

My Sibu friend, Mina also blessed us all the goods we planned to bring home and also some fruits for us to enjoy after the dinner. Thank God for her. 

We also have our dinner in their local café name "cafe cafe". Although there is some misleading happen in between, we still end up in this café. Their service is good and they also allow us to have our own fruits on the table. That's hardly happened in Penang.

After end our long day we only get to check in our hotel. 
Thank God for my friend Wei Ee who recommended a really good hotel for us to stay in. The hotel is clean and the facilities is good. Price was affordable too. I like "Starlink Hotel". They provide a bible on the writing table too. I will recommend friend to stay in again if they are going to travel in Sibu. 

3 Feb 25
Early morning at 8am, we went for breakfast again. Initially we plan to go somewhere near Mina's house to try their "wan tan". But too bad, there is slight rain again. She trapped in the bad traffic and we dare not drive in to meet her for breakfast as well. We worried we might be trapped in the bad traffic after the breakfast. 

We are heading to check out hotel and back to airport after the breakfast. 

Before heading back to the hotel, we went to grab some good "kong pia" again. The stall was recommended by our beloved bride of the week, Pricilla. 

I brought two packs to bring home since is cheap. haha.

After checked out from the hotel, we went to the airport. Finally we tried their local fast food ~Sugarbun. 

Mina blessing us the meal again. Thank God for her.

I also thank God for the favor and I am really blessed.

I thank God for the favor I have with the AA crew so that my luggage bag was not checked by them. Mina told me that the person before and after me with the luggage bag was checked by the crew. Thank God, I guess my luggage was overweight also as my friend given me some laksa paste to bring back. Unintentionally I found I bring back extra small mineral water with me. Thank God for a wonderful and fruitful trip.
