Working holiday Day 44 (09112015)

Today I'm going to work for the longest hour! From 11.30am till 3.30pm from 5.30pm till 10.30pm. Nine hours!!! 

Worst thing was, I wake at 4am as last night definitely I'm drunk and I just slept when reach home without change or even pee. Lolz

I need to take a breath!!! My whole mind was thinking about how bad I treat the Hong Kong guy and the China guy from Elsa's homestay. He made a good dish and I try it half yet I can't finish it. I ask Byson to help me finish up, and I only remember he throw it away for me. Gosh!!! Now only I realize it!!! Damn... I'm really bad!!! 

A girl from Singapore sudden text me this... I really get shocked! What's that about??? I'm bad, not good at all! 

Just that I have a good good God! 😊

Another touching text was from my colleague. She was from China and today she is off. She date me to go fishing! That's awesome, but too bad I can't join her. She is the one I shared about God's healing with her! God, can I have more time with her??? 

Since I wake so early and I need a break and breath some fresh air, I go for a jog!

Not really jog for a long time, but I'm sweat and fresh!!! God is with me! That's a great time I spend with my Heavenly Father each time I go for a jog! 

Today is really a blessed day, I found all my fella colleague was so kind and it sound like I really gonna miss them soon.

One of the colleague share how's about her life and family and something make me wish to pray for her was she ask me whether I'm going to church or not, she hope she also can have a religion to support her and make her mind better. 

Lord, I saw the needs once again. I'm leaving soon, but I hope I can do something for them or at least let them know about your love before leave. God, what can I do? Just tell me. 

She riding with me and that's the thing I know God you sent her to accompany me. That's great. 

Today I heard my boss challenge her employee about their religion. She start to start about God and you are the creator! That's really impressed me. She really awesome!!! 

Working holiday Day 43 (08112015)

Today, I hope he join me to church. So force him to give me his hp and I wake him up if possible. Beside I also promised me to made him breakfast again. Because I scared to be late to church, I rushing him unintentionally. He telling me, the first time he need to be taking breakfast so rush worse than in HK. I'm so bad!!! 

After dropped lee yan to the market to get Amy, I accompany him to the share house which he stay before to take the letter. After that, we go for lunch together as I'm yielding for food! Hahaha too hungry. 

After that he sent me home and I take a nap too before going to the second service. I date him for dinner as well. 

He came and get us as request by me. I find that I really treat him so so so... Badly. 

I get drunk in Elsa's homestay. When back I not really sure what's I done to him. But, he really nice and gentle and sent me back and I really feel bad... 

I treat him damn bad! I know I'm not the lady which he prefer and I know he can't be the one with me for now. But I like his gentleness. That's really impressed me. 

When I'm awake, I text him to say thanks and he doesn't reply. Lolz... Is okay. I hope he treat me as bad as possible, if not I will be stress up.

Working holiday Day 42 (07112015)

He capture what's I made him the sandwich and posted. Lolz...

He came my house with a Taiwan roommate Peter. After breakfast we walked to the park near the church to have fun at the community fun day. The pastor treat him coffee and he saw me squat and telling that's not nice for people to squat in HK. They hate people squatting. 

Evening, we go a cafe which he know I prefer to have a coffee. He let me choose those cafe which I wish to go and bring me there. Later on we go Westfield mall hang around! 

Because I need to back to work, he drop me and they go to see the firework again. Poor me need to work!!! 

After I off duty, Ivy( my new roommate) initially asked me to join her watch movie in the living room before I heading to work. When I reach home, they changed their plan. She and Noah ask me to go pub with them. Actually I'm damn tired as last night I'm insomnia for a day. But, I wish to know them more. I asked whether Byson and Peter would like to join or not. 

Byson and Peter join us. The place was out of my expectation. Their (ivy and Noah) action really shocked me. Thank God, Byson was going with me. He and Peter were the one talk to me mostly.

Byson is the one who really gentlemen and good man. Really not like who he act as. His mouth is really so bad, but he is nice. Because of driving, I asked him not to drink so much. He really give the half to Peter. I thought this is what's his wish too. 

 

Working holiday Day 41 (06112015)

Whole day working... 

Finally, I know I'm going to quit this job soon. 

What about my body weight! Lolz 

Beside, what's a shock is... The Hong Kong friend request me to made him breakfast... Gosh!!! 

Unbelievable he going to try. No people dare to request it. Lolz 

Working holiday Day 40 (05112015)

Today I'm off!!! 

That's so bless is I'm enjoying my max on my only day off of the weekdays! 

Unplanned getting back to Madam Kwong restaurant for lunch as accompany my ex flat mate and her BF. 

And I left my bag at the restaurant! That's too bad! 

By the way thank God for the protection!

She shared alots with me on her story! That's awesome! I enjoyed the coffee moment with her. 

Next, that is something interesting! Buying some groceries and he cook a meal which named "白醬飯配雞扒加西蘭花"

So nice, even I'm not really a cheese bake lover!

At night, that's too bad which I know that's was late as we cooked for our dinner. I skip the class with Elsa and we go for the fireworks! I'm not going with her, as she go with her housemate! 

I go with the HK guy and his flat mate from Taiwan. That's cool!!! 

The fireworks was amazing!!! It just like dropping 3D on my head! That's awesome!

Thank God for the wonderful second plan for me. Hmm... I know is bad that I had skip the class, but I had invited them to attend the community fun day on sat! God, please take the lead!

Working holiday Day 39 (04112015)

Today I got a new roommate!!! Thank God, she was so lovely. Although she is from China, but she was so outgoing and I'm sure she is Sanguin type. Hahahaha

Great news was I can go Queenstown for my Marathon volunteers job! That's cool!

Working holiday Day 38 (03112015)

Today really thanks God. I have a great time spend with the one God had gave me the opportunity to share gospel to him, Noah. Although I still yet to share the good news to him, but I know God you will lead me to a great time, great place and prepare his heart to know about you. 

Enjoyed coffee alone at the cafe- The Coffee Club. I met my cousin and Aunty. That's really a shock. Christchurch are so small! 

Beside meeting them, I met the guy who from Hong Kong which I know him through my ex flat mate. He is a good chef, thank God, I think my weight can't reduce since God is really good to me all the time. Beside that, I met my homestay owner as well. She offer to help me carry my stuff back. That's great but I got nothing much to buy, so... Really thanks for her kindness.

Homemade lamb shoulder dinner... My intention was make it to medium well. It comes to become medium... Gosh! Hope I'm still alive tomorrow. 😊

Working holiday Day 37 (02112015)

Today I'm off!!! That's a great day I can join Elsa them to go one day trip at Akaroa. Really so bless which the weather was good, we are safe and I experience different things and food. 

The staff on the cruise telling us that we are so lucky as the weather was good and we able to move on to the furthest place. Praise Lord. 

It's just like watching the national geography on live. 

That's really awesome! I keep praying and feel that's close to my Heavenly Father as I more close to the nature. God, you are so amazed! 

That's really tiring when she need to drive for the whole day. She feel sleepy on the night, so.... I force to drive from the cashmere back home. That's cool which I can drive in different country! Thank god for his protection as well.

Working holiday Day 36 (01112015)

Today is Sunday! Once again, that's my rest day for God totally!

Quite shy while met Naoh as I keep rejecting him in helping him to do the "illegal" job.

Again, I met Elsa in the church and I celebrate with her for her birthday was drop on last Friday which I need to work during her off duty!

In the evening, I was invited to join a young adult high tea section at 50, Arthur street. That's just same place which I stay. 

I'm the one came early and I thought it would be games or something else. But... It just a chit chatting time for the youngster. God, why you place me there? That's weird. I'm the only Asian there I think. Gosh!

But that's great to know some of them and know how they create an event. 

Next day, some of them will leave. We go sing K! Praise Lord... That's cheap and nice.

After the K~Ing time, I found something incredible. Noah is a Muslim. I just realize when chatting with him while he fetch me home.

God, I know why I'm attending the course. God, lead me to a better place. That's really exciting and bless.

HOW TO LEAD OTHERS LIKE JESUS

1. GIVE THEM AN EXAMPLES.

"I have given you an example to follow. Now do as I have done to you." John 13:15 (NLT)

"Don't lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your good example." 1 Peter 5:3 (NLT)

"…set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."1 Tim. 4:12 (NIV) 

Speech-how I talk to people

Life-how do I live my life

Love-do I love people 

Faith-do I really trust God

Purity-do I live a life of integrity

Will I choose to be a model?

2. CHALLENGE THEM TO A GREATER PURPOSE

We need people force us think beyond ourself.

Life without a challenge which mean you doesn't need to be exist.

Jesus challenges your:

a) Priority 

by asking you give up something.

"Go and sell what you own and give the money to the poor, and you'll have treasure in heaven; then come, follow Me."Mark 10:21b (NJB)

b) Faith

by asking you do something that's impossible.

"Jesus sent the disciples out with these instructions… 'Go announce the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!'" Matt. 10:7-8 (NLT)

c) Small thinking

by giving us vision.

"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matt. 28:19-20 (NIV)

Everybody hunger for a higher purpose.

Four steps help other discover their higher call

1. Think

Think about who's you gonna help?

Ask God about them. Their shape

3. Ask 

Ask yourself where do I see potential or strength of them.

4. Suggest 

Suggest a challenge.

(E.g. Hey, have you ever thought about...)

3. AFFIRM THEM FOR THEIR POTENTIAL

It may bring up the best in you.

Look people in the eyes- affirm them. Pay attention.

Gaze the people, wasn't in a hurry....

"Jesus looked steadily at him and He was filled with love for him." Mark 10:21a (NJB)

Everybody in this world have great potential. For more than you and me realize.

We miss it as we in a hurry.

God, what you want to do in this person, how you use me to build them? - leadership.

Treat them the way you want them to become, not the way they are.

Labeling just reinforce what they are.

"Anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." John 14:12 (NIV)

Encouragement must be: 

1. Real

2. Regular 

3. Recognizable (be specific)

4. Written (I took the time to care)

"A word of encouragement does wonders."Pr. 12:25 (LB)

4. TRUST THEM WITH RESPONSIBILITY 

People response to responsibility 

Our expectation have incredible influence to the others.

People lift up to what we expect to them.

"I am giving you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you lock on earth will be locked in heaven, and whatever you open on earth will be opened in heaven." Matt. 16:19 (NLT)

"Whoever can be trusted with a little can also be trusted with a lot."Luke 16:10 (NCV)

"If you love someone ... you will always believe in him, and always expect the best of him..."1 Cor. 13:7 (LB)

5. TO GIVE PEOPLE HONEST BE BACK. 

Correct without condemning. 

Why am I doing this? Don't correct it with anger. 

Affirm the person, correct the behaviors.

"'It was because you do not have enough faith,' answered Jesus. 'I assure you that if you have faith as small as a mustard seeds … you could do anything!'" Matt. 17:20 (TEV)

"Don't use harmful words... Use only helpful words, the kind that build up..." Eph. 4:29 (GN)

6. TREAT THEM AS EQUAL

"I do not call you servants… Instead, I call you friends."John 15:15 (TEV)

Accept the blame, share the credit.

"When Christ, who is your real life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all His glory!" Col. 3:4 (NLT)

7. PRAY FOR THEM 

"I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail." Luke 22:32 (NIV)

"I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in Me because of their testimony." John 17:20 (NLT)
